Zebrafish Science Publications

The Stage 5 Science worksheets are fantastic ꟷ I have not seen anything like them. They conform exactly to the new syllabus, and are in the same order, reducing the workload for teachers and helping them to plan and structure their lessons effectively. Each worksheet is structured clearly ꟷ the chapter headings and titles make it easy to determine what each is about, and teachers will be able to pick and choose what they want to use. Each worksheet is short and sharp and can be completed in one or two lessons. I really like the wide variety of exercises and activities ꟷ they provide practice of many different skills, including the Working Scientifically skills. The practical activities are quite different to what I have seen in other textbooks (for example, I love the Herd Immunity activity!) I thoroughly recommend these resources ꟷ the explanations are clear and carefully written, the questions and exercises are so varied, and the organisation of the worksheets will make life a lot easier for teachers.

 The Year 12 resources are an enormous asset to our teaching of Biology. They provide impressive detail on every aspect of the syllabus and are filled with interesting and engaging material that our students love. They really streamline our teaching and allow us to focus on supporting individual students and their needs. They can be used effectively in multiple ways – as the primary teaching resource in the classroom, and as a supplementary resource that students can engage with on an individual level, in the class or at home. They are also invaluable in providing extension material that allows our most capable students to excel and reach their potential.

I recently purchased Zebrafish Publications’ Year 12 Biology, and I couldn't be happier with this resource. For me, its standout features are its comprehensive coverage of HSC Biology topics and its emphasis on student involvement.
